GroupRefFactory <-- Huh? What is that?

Daffodil gave me this error message:

[error] Schema Definition Error: Referenced group definition not found: hidden-DISUSED_1
Schema context: GroupRefFactory Location line 31 in J3_0.dfdl.xsd

The first line makes sense and is easy to understand.

The "GroupRefFactory" thingy makes zero sense. Why are you telling me about some internal thingy?

I recommend removing that word.

Yep, GroupRefFactory is an internal id that should not appear in the 
diagnostics. I've opened a ticket to fix this:
