[jira] Created: (TS-463) SSL does not reuse session information

SSL does not reuse session information
--------------------------------------

                 Key: TS-463
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-463
             Project: Traffic Server
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Security
            Reporter: Leif Hedstrom
             Fix For: 2.3.0

SSL session resumption can reduce the load as in certain cases we can reuse the information from an already established SSL session to create a new SSL connection. We should have a ssl session cache .

This was originally filed under TS-346 by Vijay, but creating a separate bug task for this.
