Summary: abs crashed when testing https
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.0.59
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Other Modules
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: vincent.larchet@elca.ch

I downloaded apache_2.0.59-win32-x86-openssl-0.9.7j.msi and wanted to use ab to
test an HTTPS server.

unfortunately, it crashes and windows suggests to report this error :->

If I use abs against an HTTP server it works, but against an HTTPS server it
explodes...

------- Additional Comments From wrowe@apache.org 2007-12-30 22:21 -------
By obtaining and unpacking into the installed program files\apache group\apache2
directory the file

http://archive.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/symbols/apache_2.0.59-win32-x86-openssl-0.9.7j-symbols.zip

and following directions about capturing the crash dump with dr. watson that are
posted at

http://httpd.apache.org/dev/debugging.html

you will greatly help isolate this error. Providing specifics of how you
invoked ab would also help (command line options).
