Tuning Parameters

Dear Collected Smart Folk,

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions for tuning
parameters for running cocoon 1.7.4 jerv 1.1.1 apache 1.3.12
JSDK 2.0 JDK 1.2.1 on HP/UX 11.0?

The app will have 1-2000 pages that go through xsp and then
xslt.

In particular I was wondering about settings such as JDK Heap
size and number of threads for jserv.

Are there any tuning parameters for cocoon itself?
