Hi,

I think I don't catch your purpose for this bug. Currently, before we start server in eclipse, VM arguments can be set in the "Server VM arguments". JAVA_OPTS can also be added there. Then, server can be started successfully.

Is there any other requirement for this bug?

Thanks!

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 2.1.4
                   2.2.0

Hi Delos, I think all we really need to do here is to try to use something other than the default vm memory options, which are not adequate to run the Geronimo server under Eclipse.....

Might be that system environment variables such as JAVA_OPTS can be interrogated as well and used when initially define the server in Eclipse.....
