You can rewrite web start application as a signed applet, so it won't
install at all.

The files are not identical, they have same name, but it's content is slightly differs.
To check you can try to run previously downloaded *.jlnp file (say the file downloaded yesterday or the day before yesterday) and you will be unable to record or share screen.
