Summary: Feature request for Log4j - addtional fields logging to
                    database
           Product: Log4j
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Appender
        AssignedTo: log4j-dev@logging.apache.org
        ReportedBy: fsweng@bass.com.my

I found this in the API "JDBCAppender-WARNING: This version of JDBCAppender is
very likely to be completely replaced in the future."
What does this mean?

I'm wondering can we have new feature to allow logging additional fields data
i.e. user id, log timestamp, activity done etc via log4j to database for audit
log purposes?
