Hi,
let's say I have 20 values in one column with different timestamps, can I

Thank you,

No problem, Deepak. I'll comment on the JIRA.

Hi James, I apologize for getting confused between 2 things not I realized after looking at email they are not connected, but I tried the work arounds still I was not able to have success on loading timestamp.
If you have a sample of how it can be achieved please kindly share a example.
It would be great help.

Hi Deepak & Noam,
The issue to which you're referring, PHOENIX-1127, is specific to the CSV bulk loader and is not directly related to Mark's original question. Let's discuss that on the JIRA. Please let me know there if you've tried the workarounds I've mentioned. Also, if you could comment on Gabriel's idea for a fix, that'd be great too.
Thanks,

It’s the same problem I am facing it can store only one digit in milli seconds so it wont work, The workaournd was do EPOCH but that is not what I am looking at, I want to store it in the same format I am getting and don’t want to make it a string.

Re: How do I read all timestamp values with Phoenix
Posted by James Taylor <ja...@apache.org>.
Hi Mark,
See this FAQ: http://phoenix.apache.org/faq.html#Can_phoenix_work_on_tables_with_arbitrary_timestamp_as_flexible_as_HBase_API
Phoenix doesn't expose an API to get the Cell timestamp directly, but
you'd get all column values back for a row if you're selecting them
unless you set the CURRENT_SCN connection property to a timestamp less
than or equal to the Cell timestamp as described above.
As far as how Phoenix might surface getting the Cell timestamp, see
PHOENIX-914 and PHOENIX-590.
Thanks,
James
