[users@httpd] couldn't spawn child process

Hello

Trying to execute CGI from Apache I'm getting this 'couldn't spawn child
process' in error file.

I have no idea what it means or what I need to do to get CGI's to excute.

I'm sure it's quite simple but help much appreciated.

I am using win2k professional.

Thank you for your reply. I have already set the path to the executable.
Still does't work.

Probably the solution is simple:

the shebang line in your cgi-Skript doesnt have the right path to the
executable ...

The shebang is usually the first line in the script, which points to the
executable, which executes the script.

For example:

#!/usr/bin/perl

just change it zo the location where your perl.exe resides:

#!C:\Programme\perl\perl.exe

Now it should work ...
