Help on form submit in jsf

Hi, I am using the server TomEE plus which has myfaces implementation.
one dropdown is populated as selection of other dropdown with ajax
rendered, but when submitted the form, its not considered with the form
data and empty string is submitted for that field. How to fix it, pls help ?
