[jira] [Commented] (SMX4-1150) Unable to install examples-cxf-jaxrs
feature
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SMX4-1150?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13584217#comment-13584217 ]
Gert Vanthienen commented on SMX4-1150:
---------------------------------------
I just tried this again with the 4.5.0 release and it seems to be fixed:
{noformat}
karaf@root> features:install examples-cxf-jaxrs
karaf@root> osgi:list | grep -i example
[ 215] [Active ] [ ] [Started] [ 80] Apache ServiceMix :: Features :: Examples :: CXF JAX-RS OSGI (4.5.0)
{noformat}
Could you give it another go with that version and close this issue if it is also fixed on your machine?

> On the 4.4.2 release vote thread, Bart Horré mentioned bumping into this problem when installing the {{examples-cxf-jaxrs}} feature:
> {noformat}
> features:install examples-cxf-jaxrs
> Refreshing bundles org.springframework.web (114)
> *ERROR* Configuration for org.ops4j.pax.web has already been used for
> service [org.osgi.service.cm.ManagedService, id=242, bundle=113] and will
> now also be given to [org.osgi.service.cm.ManagedService, id=285,
> bundle=113]
> {noformat}
> On my own machine however, the same example installs fine so it may be environment related (e.g. his Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is probably using OpenJDK)
> {noformat}
> karaf@root> features:install examples-cxf-jaxrs
> Refreshing bundles org.springframework.web (114)
> {noformat}
