[jira] [Updated] (CASSANDRA-3868) Remove or nullify replicate_on_write option

Sylvain Lebresne updated CASSANDRA-3868:
----------------------------------------

    Attachment: 3868.txt

Patch attached to remove entirely the option if that is what we want to do.

I'll add that I'm not sure nobody uses that option, so this may make some people unhappy. So maybe deprecating the option for one version before removing it could be more prudent. Not sure what's our story (if we have any) for deprecating stuffs though.

> My understanding from Sylvain is that setting this option to false is rather dangerous/stupid, and you should basically never do it. So 1.1 is a good time to get rid of it, or make it a no-op.
