[ANNOUNCE] Pluto 1.1.3 (GA) Release
The Apache Pluto project is proud to announce the General Availability
release of Pluto 1.1.3. Apache Pluto implements a portlet container
which complies with the Java Portlet Specification.
This is the fourth GA release of the 1.1 line of Pluto, which is a major
refactoring of Pluto 1.0. Pluto 1.1 allows for easier integration of
Pluto's portlet container and simpler configuration of the Pluto portal
driver, a simple portal included with Pluto.
Pluto 1.1.3 is a feature and bugfix release, and represents the most
stable release of Pluto.
The Apache Pluto project provides the reference implementation of the
JSR-168 (Portlet 1.0) specification.

Sorry for the delay in the announce email. I originally sent it from my
@apache.org email address on 5/18, which ironically is not subscribed to
any of the lists, and so the message never went through. It appears
however that it got posted to Apache news anyway:
http://www.apachenews.org/archives/000991.html
Anyway, I learned something neat on the #maven channel:
If you want to post to list from a certain email address, but don't want
to receive list mail (e.g. a "one-way" post to the list), you can email
{list-name}-allow@portals.apache.org
from the email address you want to post from.
So emailing pluto-dev-allow@portals.apache.org from esm@apache.org
allows me to post to the list from esm@apache.org without receiving
duplicate list mail to both emetsger@jhu.edu and esm@apache.org.
:-)
