I'm facing the same issue on JBoss 7. I have put the CXF 2.7.5 JARs in the
modules/org/apache/cxf/main folder and updated the entries in module.xml,
and done the same for Spring framework as well in the
org/springframework/spring/main folder. Both the module.xml files contain
javax.ws.rs.api as a dependency so it should get loaded and it should find
the class.
