I was able to once, shortly after I received the original message (a 
week ago, maybe).. I have not been able to get there today.

--persistent on CLI worked at one stage but I vaguely recall having it 
reported as not working. Need some unit tests to make sure it works in future

-p or --persistent on the command line looks like it will do it in 4.1. 
I have not tested this though.
