modular java, refactoring, fxml
I couldn't determine a way to setup umbrella issues (and labels seem
inadequate), so I'm posting this here.
While tracking down [1] I ran into a variety of problems ([1] is a
single javafx wizard out of several, so...). Most are javafx related, a
couple are module-info/modular-java related (there's overlap). Any
insights or considerations added to the issues are useful (who knows, it
might encourage someone to tackle it at a later date)
[1] NETBEANS-4718: (MERGED) NewFile>JavaFX2>EmptyFXML default controller
placement causes runtime error
[2] NETBEANS-4745: (PR) fxml editor shows errors for Insets (immutable
objects in general?)
[3] NETBEANS-4764: EmptyFXML wizard does not fixup module-info as needed
depends on NETBEANS-4765
[4] NETBEANS-4765: module-info utilities for common usage
[5] NETBEANS-4789: fxml controller rename does not update reference in
xxx.fxml
[6] NETBEANS-4790: refactor move class to new package doesn't update
module-info.java
[7] NETBEANS-4791: error badges for xxx.fxml file do not propogate to
tabs or project window

[8] NETBEANS-4792: Opening a javafx project does not enable "JavaFX 2"

propogating errors to project window (Re: modular java, refactoring,
fxml)

[7] NETBEANS-4791: error badges for xxx.fxml file do not propogate to
tabs or project window
depends on NETBEANS-4745 (/which has just been merged/)
Because of other problems, particularly around refactoring and modular
java, errors can be introduced into the .fxml files. Fixing this would
at least help mitigate problems.
Could someone point me to an example of propagating editor errors to
tabs/project windows.
