PropertyUtils.getPropertyType() for java.util.Collection

craig.mcclanahan@sun.com changed:

           What    |Removed                     |Added
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
             Status|NEW                         |RESOLVED
         Resolution|                            |WONTFIX

------- Additional Comments From craig.mcclanahan@sun.com  2002-12-21 19:37 -------
The change you suggest cannot be implemented, because there is no restriction on
a java.util.Collection that it contain only String values. The elements of a
Java collection can be of any type, so there is no way for beanutils to
introspect that the property type of each element must be a String.
