[jira] [Resolved] (ROL-284) Protected Blogs

Glen Mazza resolved ROL-284.
----------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

Allowing specific articles to be read by predefined users only, if desired, is already provided today via social networking sites like Facebook and Google+. Storing readers and attaching them to specific articles probably falls outside the scope of public blogging software like Roller.

> Protected Blogs
> ---------------
>
> Key: ROL-284
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ROL-284
> Project: Roller
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: User Management
> Environment: Any
> Reporter: Rajesh
> Assignee: Roller Unassigned
>
> Looks like roller supports only 2 types of blogs
> 1. Public ( Posted on the Weblogs)
> 2. Private ( In terms of saved drafts)
> But there is nothing like Protected Blogs. Protected Blogs would mean that a user gives permission only to few people in that community to view some of his blogs.
