[jira] Created: (IVY-949) Maven pom license has name as optional element

Maven pom license has name as optional element
----------------------------------------------

                 Key: IVY-949
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IVY-949
             Project: Ivy
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Maven Compatibility
    Affects Versions: 2.0-RC1
            Reporter: Joakim Recht

Some pom.xmls contains a <license> without a <name>, which is allowed according to the maven pom xsd. This generates a ivy.xml in ~/.ivy2 which cannot be schema validated according to ivy.xsd, and thus cannot be used by the cache resolver.
