Build problem

I got this message trying to buid j2:

BUILD FAILED
File...... /home/as/install/jetspeed2/jetspeed-2/maven.xml
Element... attainGoal
Line...... 174
Column.... 59
No goal [j2:check.required.properties]
Total time: 8 minutes 8 seconds
Finished at: Sun Aug 07 10:05:34 IRDT 2005

Could anybody help me please?!

Make sure you run:

maven initMavenPlugin allClean allBuild

If that gives the same error, clean out maven's plugin and cache for the 
maven-plugin from J2. Worse case, empty your entire maven repository.
