force oAuth

Hi
How do I make it so Rest calls must use oAuth?
I've tried setting:
  'allow_plaintext_token' => false,  and  'allow_anonymous_token' => false, 
It requires an st parameter (in plaintext) but not sure how to make Shindig require oAuth.
This is the PHP version.
Any help gratefully received
