BugRat report #745
Hello,
I am trying to ascertain if there is a fix for this error? I have
downloaded the Jakarta/Tomcat src from the site and I am receiving this
error when untarring on my Solaris system.
Thanks for your help!

As I said 12 million times now, it's a bug in Solaris' version of TAR. Use
GNU tar from http://www.sunfreeware.com/
