We should move most of the classes in {{o.a.j.oak}} to dedicated sub-packages {{session}} for session related stuff and {{repository}} for repository related stuff. Only {{Jcr}} and {{OakRepositoryFactory}} should stay in the top level package. See also OAK-1003.
