Would Dearly Love to Register my OO.o Product...

Hello All you lovely people at Apache

I have just downloaded and installed OO.o but cannot find any link or clickable to register it. I realise it really helps you chaps to know how many users you have and what not, and would like to offer you some personal data for free!

Could you send me a link or tell me where to look? I have searched but I’m looking for links in all the wrong places, as the old song goes.

Thankee muchly, death to Micro$oft, and Bright Blessings from the UK.

Cheers,

Brad Jackson.

Hello Brad, thanks for the kind words.

But it is true, we are no longer asking users to register at all. You
can subscribe to our announce list
http://openoffice.apache.org/mailing-lists.html#announce-mailing-list
to stay informed, and that's all. No product registration or user
registration.

We very much prefer that people donate some time to the project and help
improve OpenOffice. You don't need any technical skills: you can simply
verify bug reports, or proofread documentation (native speakers are
particularly precious here!) or give support on this list or on the
official forum. You can take a look at
http://openoffice.apache.org/orientation/ and, when done, just e-mail us
if you found any topics you could help with!

Regards,
   Andrea.
