Before implementing the wiretap component, would it be alright to submit a patch that loads the database client classes and inserts an activity streams object while keeping the implementation mostly the same? The insertion into the database would happen in the split method of PushActivityConsumer. Right now, I'm using Cassandra as the database with Astyanax as the Java client.
