[jira] [Created] (TAP5-1818) Annotation to automate the generation of a clientId field

Annotation to automate the generation of a clientId field
---------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: TAP5-1818
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAP5-1818
             Project: Tapestry 5
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: tapestry-core
    Affects Versions: 5.4
            Reporter: Howard M. Lewis Ship

It's very frequent that you have a field of a component class that stores the clientId. This is a common pattern: the clientId is allocated (via JavaScriptSupport) inside the SetupRender phase.

A simple annotation on the field could convert the field into a read-only, where the clientId is automatically initialized.
