   Interesting. I was able to reproduce it multiple times and with complete success. I believe I created this issue in reference to CouchDB 2.1.0. Perhaps this issue was fixed in CouchDB 2.1.1?
   
   The only other thing I can think of is that I used AWS for all my testing and perhaps the difference in network topology is somehow masking/creating the issue.
