Committing multiple directories (should I create an issue?)

Hi.

Following my anterior post about committing multiple directories under
the same repository, should I create an entry in the issue tracker for
this? Is there already one?

It shouldn't be much hard to help this because there is a workaround
that involves passing all the files in the commit. We have several
related projects into one repository and the global log grows with many
duplicated entries and non-working revisions of the repository.

Isn't this important? Anyone solving this some other way?

Thanks for your help.
Bernardo

I know it's been discussed as a shortcoming before, but I couldn't find
an open issue on it.

Compared to the other bugs we have on our plate? No, it's not
particularly high priority. :-) But please, go ahead and file an
'enhancement' request, and include a link back to this email thread.
