[jira] [Resolved] (SOLR-12719) Deprecate
autoReplicaFailoverWaitAfterExpiration in solr.xml
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-12719?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Cassandra Targett resolved SOLR-12719.
--------------------------------------
Fix Version/s: (was: 8.1)
(was: main (9.0))
Resolution: Won't Fix
I think this issue was about just the deprecation of the parameter which was removed in SOLR-12720, but since the whole autoscaling framework has been deprecated a special deprecation notice for this doesn't seem necessary.

> The {{autoReplicaFailoverWaitAfterExpiration}} in solr.xml is used to populate the auto add replicas trigger's {{waitFor}} value. This was done to preserve back-compat in SOLR-10397. However, it has limitations as currently implemented e.g. SOLR-12114.
> We should move it to either a cluster property or autoscaling property, deprecate the current setting and remove it in 8.0 (in another issue)
