parse error XalanDOMString

hello,

can anybody tell me why i get an error like:

XalanDOM/XalanDOMString.hpp:1113: parse error before '=='

using Xalan-C++1.2 on linux.
sorry, if i'm on the wrong mailinglist, could not find another and the 
answers to the problems at dejanews are not really usefull.
