Contributions to Kafka

Hi, my name is George Hilios and I'd like to contribute to Kafka. I am an
engineering manager at Indeed and am looking to gain more experience in
Scala while also contributing to the open source community. I noticed there
are a series of newbie bugs and would like to pick some of them up to get
started.
