We should be able to avoid passing the IP address across the wire with each span we send, since it should be the same for all spans sent from a given htrace client.  It would also be nice to handle multihoming in some sane way....

> Right now, we have no IP address or hostname specified in the span process description.  So if we have 100 datanodes, the spans from all of them simply show up as "DataNode."  Obviously this is unsatisfactory.
