[jira] Commented: (WICKET-400) getParameters() returns zero-length Map after using mountBookmarkablePage()

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WICKET-400?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#action_12495900 ]

Johan Compagner commented on WICKET-400:
----------------------------------------

that getRequest().getRequestParameters().getParameters() does return directly the copy of the ServletWebRequest.getParamaterMap()
where all those 1.2.6 problems are comming from because now it has String[] from the request itself. But if we put in things they become just Strings
this is i think confusing i guess what we should do is don't return that a Map but return our ValueMap (PageParameters)

so that people can ask for the right type directly and we do the String[] > String conversion for them.

> Before using mountBookmarkablePage() , parameters are presented as ?var1=a&var2=b ...
> I can get a map of parameters by getRequest().getRequestParameters().getParameters();
> After using mountBookmarkablePage() , parameters are translated to spider-friendly style : /var1/a/var2/b
> and getRequest().getRequestParameters().getParameters() returns empty map
> How do I solve this problem ?
