   **Issue Evaluation**

   Category: `enhancement` | Status: **Evaluated**

   **Feasibility:** feasible
   **Scope:** Java gRPC client logging
**Compatibility:** No breaking changes — opt-in configuration.

This is a practical enhancement. Supporting a custom logger interface (similar to SLF4J's `Logger` or a simple functional interface) would allow applications to:
   - Route client logs through their existing logging framework
   - Use structured JSON logging for observability pipelines
   - Avoid the default console/logger output in containerized environments

The implementation should define a minimal `ClientLogger` interface and provide a default implementation that delegates to the existing logging mechanism.
