Maven Indexer code to git?

Hi,

Someone with a strong opposition to move maven-indexer code to git?
If no one complains within 72H, I will ask migration to infra.

The more Git the better. The faster we never have to use SVN again, the more productive we'll all be.

Wouldn't be the solution to just remove the svn trunk & branches, and only
leave the tags in the last revision?

Or intermediately, leave the trunk path to be found, but remove anything
but that file "MOVED_TO_GIT"?

No objections from me, but a request.

Please put a file in the root of the old svn repo called MOVED_TO_GIT or
something similar, so that it is clear that it has moved. I wasted some
time the other week trying to commit to plugin-testing before I realized
that the svn repo was read-only...

fo rthe last component moved, I had to update http://maven.apache.org/source-repository.html

it would be really useful to create the git equivalent of 
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/trunks/
