I was somehow under the impression that having an
approval vote would already trigger the bot.

Can you please move the approved nominations to the approved section when you add the final vote? :)
(In this case you approved two nominations and a few days ago you approved another one)
That will automatically trigger the backport script without anybody else having to do something.
