binaries...

Brian,

	your notes on:

	http://www.hyperreal.com/httpd/binaries.html

are misleading. Can you clarify them for us.

You say for the tar files:

apache_(version)-(platform)-(OSversion).tar.gz

eg: apache_0.8.16-solaris-2.4.tar.gz

but for the binaries:

httpd-(version)

eg:	httpd-solaris

Huh? Which (version) is which? What's the scoop?

Ay.

Fixed. My apologies.

| httpd-(platform)
|
| as in, httpd-solaris

Why -platform? Many of us maintain multi-platform /usr/local/src (or
equivalent) trees, and being able to do this makes our life quite a bit
easier.

	Brian
