I'm not sure this is the best fix, not sure why there is a quote in there actually, the parser should handle quote muck and then pass the text (w/o quotes) to the evaluator for interpolation.

BTW, this change will still cause this to break:

set login='deploy/connect -u $username -w $password'
{noformat}
