svn server on windows
Is there somebody who has successfully setup a subversion *server* on
windows?
(With or without Apache and DAV, I remember that some effort was put into
providing a third communication method in addition to ra_dav and ra_local)

Yes, I built db4, httpd, and svn all under cygwin. And it worked. :-)
This was a few months ago.

ra_pipe doesn't work yet... it's still in the relatively early stages
of development. So for now, "server" == apache + mod_dav_svn.

Yes, I built svn without cygwin - OK.
I'm currently using subversion on Apache 2.0.36 ( I used the
installation kit from their site) with mod_dav_svn and with Berkeley DB
binaries from subversion site and everything works fine.
I used Subversion with a local repository, without Apache, but I
encountered problems with urls (because of win32 file system) and I
switched to remote repos.
