XalanC version 1.6 status

Hi All!

Our goal is to release XalanC 1.6  next week.

As a part of our effort we started testing and package building.
We've  tested it on the all officially supported platforms and the results
look better then XalanC1.5 one.
Now we are building the source/binary packages.

I'd suggest if you feel that the last additions are not going smooth , let
postpone it to the next release.

If you need  help , like to build, or to run tests on specific platform ,
please let us know.
