[I] Control buttons and headers disappear when logs are longer than browser window [airflow]

zachliu opened a new issue, #63934:
URL: https://github.com/apache/airflow/issues/63934

   ### Apache Airflow version

   2.11.X

   ### If "Other Airflow 3 version" selected, which one?

   _No response_

   ### What happened?

The buttons are beheaded or even disappeared all together along with dag name and task name when the logs fill up the log window (aka when it is longer enough to scroll).

   https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/69d5f5ee-2889-4111-a698-c0c9b7acc272

   ### What you think should happen instead?

The headers and buttons should always be visible regardless of log length.

   ### How to reproduce

   1. Go to a task that is able to generate logs longer than one browser window
   2. Select the "Logs"
   3. Resize (drag the middle divider) the logs window and grid view if need be

   ### Operating System

   LM 21.3 with docker python:3.12-slim-bookworm

   ### Versions of Apache Airflow Providers

   ### Deployment

   Docker-Compose

Yes we can **can** add small fixes like that - this is not a new feature but more something that might be annyoying for users so if we get a good / reviewed small PR - we can merge it (and likely there will be 2.11.3 before EOL)

Not sure if this will get fixed as 2.11.x only receives critical/security bug fixes.

Still leaving open for now as there is a PR opened 🤞

In my team maybe we will have airflow 3 in the future, but not now, I am having also this issue, just waiting any update here or maybe the fix with new airflow minor version 🥲.

Since AF2 is in limited maintenance support, I'd suggest that opening a PR yourself is probably the safest bet to have this actually fixed if you need it.

I can take a look at this as well—especially around the scroll/overflow
behavior with longer logs. I’ll review the PR and help test edge cases

note: It looks easier to reproduce with 'wrap' enabled.

This seems like a scrolling issue in the frame that contains task headers / control buttons + tabs + selected tab content. It just does not scroll, so the top and bottom of the entire frame get cut out if the tab contents are long enough to make the frame require scrolling.

This leads to the impression that the control buttons / header "disappear" at the top, but pagination control on mapped tasks are also unreachable for example.

Makes the whole UI barely useable TBH, this should be an urgent fix.
