Html Component Definition Stripper - Software
I wrote a utility to remove Tapestry component definitions from an html
file, and generate the corresponding .page tags (which is the right
place to put them!). It generates intelligent ids if none exist in the
html. The new html is generated along with the list of tags. It also
lets you know if it successfully stripped all the definitions.
The only general problem is that since it doesn't use the Tapestry jar
file to determine component specs it will pick up some informal
parameters and put them in the page (still works, put not really
preferable in my mind).
If you are interested, I'd be happy to share. I wouldn't mind anyone
beefing it up as well.
