Simon MacDonald commented on CB-1236:
-------------------------------------
I'm pretty sure this is fixed in 2.1 with some of the other changes made to media.
> getDuration() only returns correct result after playing twice

> Key: CB-1236
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-1236
> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Android
> Affects Versions: 2.0.0
> Environment: DreamWeaver BuildGap Service
> Reporter: Neil Friend
> Assignee: Simon MacDonald
> Labels: duration, media
>
> Using a set up very similar to the Media examples in the Docs for Play and Record, I am trying to get the length of the recording when I come into the PLAY function.
> Calling "my_media.getDuration()" the first time returns -1; But then after that the correct length of the file is returned.
