creating a sampler to call StrutsUnitTest

I am looking to use JMeter to call tests designed with StrutsTestCase.  Has
anyone considered doing this in their work?  It seems like StrutsUnitTest
has a well defined API for testing struts and this API could overcome the
limitations of using Cookie Manager.

Any ideas of whether this is possible or the right approach for getting
JMeter to test with Struts?
