The current backup and restore documentation ([https://github.com/apache/hbase/blob/master/src/main/asciidoc/_chapters/backup_restore.adoc]) is slightly outdated and does not reflect the latest changes. This Jira aims to review and compile all recent updates and incorporate them into the documentation.
