omixen opened a new issue, #36645:

   ### Describe the bug, including details regarding any error messages, version, and platform.
   
   Currently, when writing parquet a parquet file, if `writer.sink.Close()` reports an error, it is not handled and returned by `writer.Close()`. This could cause a broken pipe with silenced error.
