Hudson messages on JIRA: Worth it?
Hi,
Hudson leaves comments on both the PR and the JIRA issues right now.
Personally, I never make use of the comments on the JIRA and instead do
all my code reviewing over on GitHub. On the other hand, receiving all
theses automated messages twice and having to scroll through them on
JIRA adds clutter.
How do others use them? Would it be OK to drop the messages to JIRA? Can
we even do that?
Thanks,
Markus

Sure. I’ve added reconfiguration section in https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/REEF/Continuous+Integration+Setup <https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/REEF/Continuous+Integration+Setup>
The relevant configuration was already included in Jenkins setup section.

Theoretically it's nice to have a record on JIRA. But practically, it clutters the JIRA which makes it more difficult to find the link to the PR, which I'm usually looking for.
I'd prefer to turn the messages off.

Personally, I never make use of the comments on the JIRA and instead do all my code reviewing over on GitHub. On the other hand, receiving all theses automated messages twice and having to scroll through them on JIRA adds clutter.
