[GitHub] [echarts] dirslashls opened a new issue #15022: higher z/zlevel elements are hidden when hovered on a overlapping lower z/zlevel elements

dirslashls opened a new issue #15022:
URL: https://github.com/apache/echarts/issues/15022

   ### Version
   5.1.1

   ### Steps to reproduce
   Use the following bar chart config

   ```js
   option = {
       xAxis: {
           type: 'category',
       },
       yAxis: {
           type: 'value'
       },
       visualMap: {
         type: 'piecewise',
         categories: ['M','W'],
         dimension: 2,
       },
       series: [{
           data: [
               { value: ['Mon',100,'M'], z: 10 },
               { value: ['Mon',20,'W'], z: 20 }
               ],
           type: 'bar',
       }]
   };
   ```

   ### What is expected?
   Hovering over the larger bar shouldn't hide the overlapping smaller bar below as it has higher z value (I also tried with zlevel).

   ### What is actually happening?
   It hides the element with higher z/zlevel.

   ---
   The zindex of html works this way where higher zindex elements always remain on top as you hover over the lower zindex elements.

   No document states the data item supports the `z` or `zlevel` option.

   Hi! We've received your issue and please be patient to get responded. 🎉
   The average response time is expected to be within one day for weekdays.

   In the meanwhile, please make sure that it contains **a minimum reproducible demo** and necessary **images** to illustrate. Otherwise, our committers will ask you to do so.

   *A minimum reproducible demo* should contain as little data and components as possible but can still illustrate your problem. This is the best way for us to reproduce it and solve the problem faster.

   You may also check out the [API](http://echarts.apache.org/api.html) and [chart option](http://echarts.apache.org/option.html) to get the answer.

   If you don't get helped for a long time (over a week) or have an urgent question to ask, you may also send an email to dev@echarts.apache.org. Please attach the issue link if it's a technical question.

   If you are interested in the project, you may also subscribe our [mailing list](https://echarts.apache.org/en/maillist.html).

   My bad, I mistook that data can have z level based on documentation. Thanks for considering this as a feature.
