[DISCUSS] Graduate Uniffle as TLP
Hi, all
Uniffle began its incubating journey on 6/6, 2022. Since then our community
has significantly matured.
- Currently, our community consists of 25 committers, with 16 serving as
PPMC members
- At present, we boast 73 contributors.
- Throughout the incubation period, we've make 7 releases
- We've have 7 different release managers to date.
- Our software is in production and used by many companies, including
Tencent, VIP shop, IQiyi, SF express, etc.
- To date, we open about 900 issues and 600 issues resolved.
- We have submitted a total more than 1300 PRS. 1108 merged
Do you think we are ready for graduating as a TLP?

+1, I believe that Uniffle is now a mature service, further improving the stability of the company's offline tasks. Additionally, the community is thriving, so I agree.

+1, agree. I think Uniffle has been mature enough since it has been deployed in production env in several companies and the community has been expanded substantially.

I strongly agree too. Uniffle serving as a key factor in cost reduction and efficiency improvement for companies. I am very proud to be a member of the community.

The community has elected 1 new PPMC members and 9 new committers so far.

+1 Can't agree more!
As a participant in the early Uniffle community, I am very happy to see the rapid development of Uniffle. Thanks to everyone's efforts, now Uniffle supports more frameworks, improves the stability of the system, and attracts more developers than before entering the incubator.
As a beneficiary of Uniffle's entry into the community, I have made good use of Uniffle to improve the stability and performance of our company's internal Spark jobs.

Agree. Uniffle has become an indispensable part of our company. It has good performance and high stability and it plays a very important role on the road to cloud native.

Agree. It has good performance and high stability and it plays a very important role in HPC workload when scale to large number of nodes.

I also agree. Uniffle has successfully handled a massive amount of jobs within Tencent, significantly improving the performance and stability of shuffle when dealing with large-scale data! The number of users is also steadily increasing!

Agree. Uniffle has been deployed to our company to serve as Spark Remote
Shuffle Service, the scale of workload growing day by day.
I believe Uniffle can be greater and more popular after this. It's my honor
to be one of the contributors of Uniffle.
