   actually, after attempting to bump the version in my local `node_modules` folder (i.e.: my copy of `cordova-android` source files), I see that trying to do _that_ upgrade actually affects a great many other things in the toolchain.
   
   so I think I'll just sit here and be happy with the tools that you brilliant people spend so much time and effort maintaining for everybody else to use, and stick to writing code in the languages that I _do_ actually understand.. 🖖🏼
